Adventures with the Holy Spirit: A Journey with RUACH

Deacon Durban writes about his life and how the Holy Spirit worked in his life. When I first started reading the book, I didn’t quite know what it was going to be about. I’m sorry to say that the book title and description didn’t do it justice. However, as I read further, I came to understand that this was about his life with all it’s ups and downs, and on-and-off relationship with God and the Holy Spirit.

He is an ordinary person, and his story exemplifies how God worked through his life. Likewise, we may be able to relate to how God (the Holy Spirit) can work through our own lives, usually best viewed in hindsight.

I found that the book improves toward the end, and there was a very amazing Holy Spirit moment where a woman was happened upon and ultimately saved. It was a truly beautiful story where we can clearly see the Holy Spirit working!

Overall, this is a good book, and I would recommend it to anyone who has experienced ups and downs in life and wants to reflect on how the Holy Spirit might be working in their own lives.
